Tarot Reading 4/2/21

I'm not sure I had any one particular question in mind. But I have been wondering about my career path for a while and this spread would certainly pertain to that. I have been through some rough times that have given me a new perspective on things.  Because of this, I am taking my time making a move. But also encouraged to move ahead. I am strong and can handle what comes my way. (Here I'm getting a little hung up.) There are either lots of backstabbing around me OR I am in a situation that is going to end, i.e. the abrupt end to a job. The latter makes more sense to me. I am hopeful that new opportunities await me. I will put in hard work to build my skills, a new opportunity will present itself out of the blue and my dreams will come true. 

"'The Devil' is in the Details"

This morning, my husband and I were having a conversation about people choosing to be unhealthy.  Since I have recently experienced this transformation, I was explaining to him that "choosing to be unhealthy" involves factors like what we're taught growing up and habits we form as a result. The choice to be unhealthy is to keep telling yourself that it is too hard to do the work to be healthy and/or you can't stick with it to be successful.  In January, I finally rewrote my narrative. I am exercising 5 to 6 times per week and choosing healthier foods to eat. While I have been successful in the past with making healthier food choices, this is the first time that I have stuck with an exercise routine.

Well toward the end of this conversation, I decided to pull my "tarot card of the day". The first card I pulled was 'The Devil'. Instantly, we both knew that this card popped up in relation to our conversation. My husband's immediate response was "The devil is in the details". 'The Devil' signifies being stuck in old patterns or habits, which is exactly what we were talking about. 

I thought this incident was pretty cool because it proved to me that I am in tune with my cards! I am starting to get more confident in my psychic abilities.  This month, as a self care measure,  I started pulling one card each day and, since a few have repeated, I'm getting more familiar with them and their meanings. 

Working With a Pendulum

 Have you ever worked with a pendulum? 

I started about 5 years ago. At the time, it predicted that I was pregnant before I could even get a reliable outcome from a home pregnancy test. Later on, it accurately predicted the sex of my baby before the 20 week ultrasound. I was so impressed by these findings! In the years since, I have been trying to master other methods of divination like tarot cards and communicating with my spirit guides. During this time I have put my pendulum on the back burner, so to speak. 

 A while back I engaged in a meditation to gain information from my higher self. Immediately I began "seeing" images of business cards and building a website. I took that as a sign that I should work on the website building course that I purchased on Udemy. Then a couple of weeks ago, I remembered something that  medium told me during a reading. She told me to become a vendor at a local Psychic Fair. So I looked up the website for the fair and how to become a vendor. One of the requirements is that you must have a website. Well, my higher self was definitely telling me something!

Yesterday, I pulled out my pendulum and began ask questions again. It confirmed that I should make a website and business cards. It told me that I was able to give readings to people. Even though, I still have lots of self doubt. I have had a hard time finding motivation to reach out to people in online forums to practice. This pandemic has really zapped me of any energy and optimism. But I have decided that 2021 is not going to do that to me!

So if you have never worked with a pendulum, first look for one that resonates with you. Or you can make one with a ring and a chain/string. Once you have obtained a pendulum, you start by relaxing your hand and draping the chain over your index or middle finger, whichever is most comfortable for you. Then begin asking it "which way for 'yes'?" and "which way for 'no'?" When you ask one question, you wait for the pendulum to move and give you an answer. Most pendulums swing vertically for "yes" and horizontally for "no". But every person interacts with his/her pendulum uniquely. So ask your pendulum which motions it prefers. After you have established how it will answer, fire away with yes or no questions. If the pendulum begins moving around in a circular motion and it was not what it did for yes or no, then this is an indication that it does not know the answer at that time.

2021 Forecast

I originally did this spread on Dec 4, 2020. However, the knights seemed to contradict each other  and really confused me! So I reached out to my psychic mentor for guidance. 

As the title suggests I asked the cards for a yearly forecast for next year. I am going to be making a difficult choice that may possibly hurt someone to my benefit. I need to take my time making the decision that is for my highest good. Once I've made that decision, I need to move forward quickly. But in that difficult process, my dreams will come true. I already know that I am afraid of jumping head first into change. But I will also be going it alone when I had thought that I would have some support. I will be okay and lots of opportunities will present themselves. Whichever path I go down, I will be in a good place financially.Through all of this I will undergo major transformation and soul growth. 

I'm actually kind of excited for this year!
